Its our birthday this month! We would like to truly thank the amazing Phoenix community that welcomed our humble idea of a “Bottle Shop” that started ten years ago but took us two years to open. Our small hobby business has become a nice little footprint with amazing staff (aka family) and some of the most generous customers (aka community).
Thanks to all the Wine Club Members. It has been an honor to discover so many wines together.

Wednesday Winemaker Visit #1 Mr Julio Buchon of Longavi/Glup Wines
Julio Bouchon pictured above during our blending of Realm White and Red last November.
Julio will join us at Uptown Wine Bar for a special tasting release. He has a Heritage Wine project that is releasing the third wine in the series. We currently carry the Cementario Chenin Blanc and the Reforma Grenache extended malo rose. We will be launching the Carignan in AZ on Wednesday.
We will have flight and bottle specials along with some Chilean-style Empanadas.

Little side note on who Julio is. Julio's family have been making wine in Chile for four generations. The Bouchon estate was acquired by the Bouchon family in the 1970's. The winery is in the Interior District of Chile within the Maule Valley DO. The Maule Valley is nearly a three-hour car ride south from Santiago. The Bouchon Winery is famous for its “Wild Pais” there is a small creek that runs through the estate that is lush with mature trees and wild vines of pais growing amongst the trees. Each year the winery harvests these wild grapes using ladders and a bit of luck to gather up as many clusters as possible. These grapes are then used to make the wine “Pais Viejo” or old Pais. The Bouchon property has always been a sustainably farmed property and is currently converting over to organic.

Wine Maker Visit #2 with Bobby Huff & Jaam Moynihan from Joseph-Jibril Winery in Healdsburg California
Please join us in welcoming Joseph-Jibril Winery duo Winemaking team of Bobby and Jaam on July 15th starting a 5pm at Hidden Track Wine Bar Uptown.
We will be offering flights, bottle specials, and oysters from Blake with Just Oysters PHX………!
Joseph-Jibril is a small production winery based in Healdsburg California. They focus on just making five wines and using carbonic maceration with three of the five wines.
We will be featuring three of their wines as they share insight and stories.
The mythical Blake will host an afternoon of wisdom, insight, inspiration, and all that will lend you to become an elite oyster aficionado.
The class syllabus – History of oysters – Farming and harvesting of oysters – How to open oysters – Nutritional information of oysters – What to pair with oysters – Mignonette sauce preparation and a few recipes
